Last details on the christening gown .

Wow i don't think i've ever been this stressed in my whole life . That is also why this is a planned blog'post from me today - cause of course the baptism is today . But i don't really think i'll get much time infront of the computer today , and i've had so much to do the last couple of days that i haven't got the time to blog about it everyday - therefor this post .. A little summary of the last 2 days or something like that . :b

I got the christening gown done in the last minute ... Phew ! As you can see above it's bit of a work and i can tell you guys that it took like forever to get it done , and being satisfied with the final result - but it got beautiful & it's unique and a creation of my own so i'm proud ! And Emina will look so great in it ! :D

Beautiful gift from sweet Gabi ! ♥

My good friend Gabi came by today (saturday) with this beautiful baptism gift for Emina , since she might not be able to make it for the baptism . And it's so beautiful ! We're going to get it engraved & then it'll stand and decorate our room , with a memory of a hopefully fantastic day wiie . I'm happy that i also got such good friends , that when they might not make it for the baptism they think about it anyway and brings Emina such a beautiful gift . I hope she's going to make it anyway .. I want my sweet Gabi to be there on this special day so i'm crossing my fingers ♥

I can tell you guys that i can really feel the pressure about getting everything done in time right now . I've said it before , and i know i keep saying it but i dont think i've ever been this stressed out and nervous before . And i've tried a lot - like my event'jobs and modelling , but this is making me nervous !

Luckily i'm almost done . It's a bit confusing this post cause it's sunday today - but i wrote it yesterday so trying to less confuse you i'll explain; this post is written Saturday the 20th September - and it's 19:15 right now . i hope that made it a bit easier to understand .

The room is decorated and done now - the cakes are put together and finished now . Even though i'm not 100% satisfied with the look of them . I had a clear idea that they would turn out better than this .. But i don't want to spend more time on them ... I don't have time for that haha . :b

The speech for tomorrow is written and ready . The clothes are washed , and i just need to iron them . And then there's the food . It's the only thing i'm missing .

I've made some ready for tomorrow , but i still need a bit more cooking .. And then there's of course like 500 other small details i want to be perfect .. But i'm sure i don't have time for that haha .

So i'm just hoping that everything turns out fine tomorrow . I'm sure i'm calling sick with stress after tomorrow , cause i've tried to arrange anything like this before . Pheeeew .

Wish us good luck - i'll make a post about the baptism , posting lots of pictures and telling you all about how it turned out when i get the time for it .

Baptism till over the head

What a beauty haha . :b

First i just had to share this picture of Emina with you guys . It's from the morning and that is pretty much what Emina looks like when stretching out her body .. Such a beauty hahaha . :D

Now i know i've been rambling on out about the baptism and what kind of hard work it is for days - like weeks now and i can imagine that you're all getting pretty tired hearing about it .. I'm sorry

But there's hope forward ! Cause there's only 2 days left & then it's sunday ! And i promise i wont mention the word baptism ever again afterwards . Or well .. Promise and promise ... It's a very strong word . But i promise you guys that all my posts wont be about baptism and the preparing anylonger . But lost of other stuff ! Like my course in extensions which i'm soon going to attend .. And maybe soon a vacation to Spain for me , Emina & Mikkel .

We didn't get the chance in the summer'vacation since i got sick just up till our travel'date - and afterwards Emina got sick . She had some virus in her body & was down for like 2½ week . But it all turned out well .

So now we've been talking about taking a short vacation to visit my grand'mother in Spain .. At the start of October / middle of October . Now that she's taking her time to come & visit us for the baptism we can at least come and visit her too when we had to cancel the summer'vacation with her .

Fondant rabbits

So i've been working a bit on the cake decoration today . I'm going to do 3 cakes for the baptism - what kind of stuffing i want in them yet i don't know . But i'm sure it'll be good when i figure that out .

Right now i'm focusing on the decorating . I took this fondant-cake'decorating course as i told you guys about , and of course i want to use it for decorating Emina's baptism cakes .

So today i've been playing a bit with the fondant and it turned out like this; small sweet rabbits for the cake . Aren't they great ? Haha . :b 

Shopping list .

And i can tell you guys that it's a big project writing the shopping list for the baptism . Phewww ! Remembering and calculating out all the things we need to buy - but i managed to get it done .. or i hope so . :b Now it's just out and picking up all the stuff ..

My little princess

Well goodmorning to you my sweet'heart .

I'm supposed to be rushing around & all stressed out about the baptism on Sunday - but today i felt like just having a cool'down day , since yesterday was one big mess about the gown & i almost had like a break'down because i felt stressed like hell .. That don't seem like me - and that's why i've also agreed with myself that i'm going to take it in my own speed , relax & just do it the best i can .

Nothing can be completely perfect , and i don't want it to be perfect . I want it to be down-to-earth , family & friends just having a good time and celebrating my beautiful daughter .
I know i got time enough - and i will be finished on sunday . As long as i just calm down & act like myself again . I got Mikkel , my mom and Fido , my brother and soon my grand'mother to help me . So it'll all be great and we'll make it in time hehe . :b

So todays post wont be about stressing around & trying to get ready for sunday - but just a bragging post about my little sweet'heart . We've had a chill'day together . Quality mom-and-daughter-time .. We've been for a short walk in the great weather and just relaxing in the sofa at home .
And as you can see on the picture above my little Emina is getting so good ! She can raise herself up - and "almost" stand without any help hehe . :)

She's full of life & so happy all the time . I can't stop smiling when she sends me that big laughing smile as above . It's just great being a mother to such an easy child wiiie .

Gown disaster & doll'mouth

Nooooo !!

Right now i feel like crying ! I could literally cry .. The worst thing that could happen up till the baptism just happened today . And i'm so mad & frustrated about it right now .

I'm sure i can fix it before sunday but it's still so annoying when things like this suddenly happen . Especially because i really don't feel like having time for this ! Argggggg !
Well to make you guys understand; i was almost done with the christening gown i've designed and sewn all by myself for Eminas baptism , but when i had to ironing a fold i accidently turned the iron up instead of down and that resulted in as you can see above; the fabric melted ! ... I could cry !
How stupid are you aloud to be .. Omg .. Arrrrgggg ! It was an accident from my part - but still . It's not okay to make those kind of accidents when were this close to the baptism & i'm still not all done with the gown .
Anyway - i just have to stop whining and get back to work . I know i can make it in time ! Or i hope so .. If i just stop doing stuff like this haha .

Off subject question; what do you think about the make up i did here ? While planning the baptism & getting everything done in time till sunday i'm also experimenting with what make up i'll have to do for sunday - and of course all practicing doing make up for the beauty'salon i'm going to open very soon .
I don't have a place for it you be yet - sadly - but i'm looking & looking ! Meanwhile i'm planning to start up at home and then when i find a place then move it there .

So what do you think about the make up ? :b If we look away from the doll'mouth haha .

Project cake'decorating

Before decorating . :b

Last day on the cake'decorating course & i couldn't be more satisfied with the result of todays cake . It has been fun trying , and both me and my bonus'mother had a great time , and the way the cakes turned of was just great wiie . :b

So if you're ever thinking about wanting to do a bit more out of a cake than just the regular birthday-one , then i can definitely recommend signing up for a course like this , cause once you get the idea about how to do it you can make some pretty amazing cakes . Of course you need to know how to bake and make a good cake filling too , cause if it only looks good but tastes like shit then it's really not worth it . :b

I chose to do a pretty simple cake as you can see above . The theme for the cake'decorating course was nature , and as i mentioned above i'm pretty satisfied with my finished result .
Of course all the cake decoratings was great ! But i'm really happy with mine , and now i really can't wait to do the cakes for Emina's baptism . It's going to be great !  And i think i'm ready for it now . :b

I still need some practice but i'm sure i can make some great cakes anyway . At least we're one step closer being ready to the baptism , now that i got the cake'decorating in place . Now i'm just nervous about if there's enough time for all the plannings and things we have to get ready .

Shopping weekend .

New in . :b

I've had the best weekend . I'm really bubbly of happiness & everything is just going the right way right now . I can't complain about anything and i'm just living life the way i want wiie .
This weekend Mikkel & i went for short 1-day family'quality time to Malmø and i was so lucky that i got some new clothes and shoes out of the trip - as you can see above .
It has just been a perfect weekend full of relaxing and lots of family'time . And it's needed - right now i'm starting to get more and more stressed . There's only a week left till Emina's baptism and i'm not even close to be done yet ! I still need a lot of work on the christening gown , and i'm planning on doing all the cakes and food myself - with a bit help from my mother also . It's just a lot ! And i love having lots of balls in the air at once , but i'm starting to stress out now , and that's not funny .

So i can't tell you how happy i got when Mikkel suddenly came up with the idea that we needed a family'weekend with a quick trip to Malmø just for fun - and then just relaxing home in bed together , watching some good movies and just enjoying each others company . I got the best man and he knows just what to say and do at the right moments . Wiiie ♥

Anyway - i'll go back to my Mikkel & Emina in the bed , with a big cup of hot chocolate and just enjoy what a lovely family i got and how lucky i am . And then it's back to work and str

First baby swimming ♥

My little water dog ♥

Today was Emina first baby swimming - or well , we found out when we arrived that her first lesson actually was canceled , but since we already were there we decided that we didn't need an instructor for Emina to swim , of course we can just do it by ourself . :b

And i was really glad we did . We had an amazing time together all 3 of us - one small family event wiie . Emina loved it and we found out that she's a bit of a water dog . She loved being in the water and swimming - or well as swimming as well as she could . :b 

We read that the maximum for a babys time in the water - at least at the beginning is about 25 minutes , but when we had to get up from the pool Emina started complaining and wanted more . Of course we were listening to the instructions we've read - but the time spend in the showers afterwards our little private family-swim-lesson was just as fun as the time spend in the real pool .

Of course she was a bit tired , but she loved every minute of the swimming , from the pool till the shower room and when we got out from there she passed out as a light haha .

My two most precious . ♥

Mikkel was so excited about all the swimming with Emina that he also wanted dive with her . But in that way i'm trying to be the adult harsh mother telling him that we should wait till next time where we got the instructor hehe . :b So now he - and Emina has something to look forward to .

Anyway , i don't have much more to tell . We had an amazing time all 3 and i'm so glad that we've signed up for the baby swimming lessons ! Of course Mikkel can't be with us all the time since he's working night shift - but as much as possible he'll try to join us wiiie . So we're looking forward to many , many more mom-dad-baby swimming hours in the pool hehe . :)

Lots of balls in the air . :b

Finally our bed'room is close to be done . :b

There is nothing better than knowing you're almost done with a project of yours - especially when you like me are having 1000 of balls in the air at once haha . But i'm not complaining , i love being busy and i love doing a lot stuff on my own . :b

So as you can see on the picture above our bed'room is almost done now . It's only a few details we need to get up and done before calling it finished , but we're in no hurry . Right now the baptism is no. 1 most important - and i got some great news about it ! My grand'mother are coming all the way from Spain just for Emina's baptism ! Wiiiie . It's so great ! And i'm so happy that she chose to come even though it's a 4 hours trip out & home again . Now everything just has to be perfect and i hope we'll be finish in time . :b

Tomorrow Emina , Mikkel & i are going for her first baby'swim class ! Wiie i can't wait . I'm sure it'll be just great . :b And i'm so excited to see what Emina thinks about it . ♥

Throwback Tuesday

Nighty nighty . ♥

Throwback tuesday wiiie ! :b

As i wrote in one of my previously posts i would do some throwback tuesday/thursday when i got the time for it , cause i got a lot of pictures from the last couple of months that i want to show you guys - and stories to tell with some of them hehe .

For todays throwback tuesday there isn't actually much of a strory , just 2 pictures with my nugget ♥ It's fantastic to be a mother and for everyday i just loves it even more . Even though it can be hard sometimes , and you hear from most people that they miss the days before they became a parent; those days where they could go out to the club , or out to celebrate each other or stuff like that .. I really don't miss that - cause i can still do it even though i'm a mother . I can't do it that often as i could before , but just because i've a daughter now doesn't mean me and Mikkel can't have some alone'time & just enjoy each other - or some time with our friends . We can still do that , and Emina haven't really changed our lives that much .

She just made them more interesting ♥ . I love being a mother - a parent . It's the greatest gift ever giving to me ♥

Saturdays Tivoli trip

Oh så pretty . :b

Okay i'm sorry i haven't had the time to blog yesterday - or saturday , but what you missed out on the weekend was like huge stuff . Of course there was me and my childhood friend "AK" tivoli-trip ! :b 

The weather was okay for a short visit in the amusement park , so we spend most of the day there bringing back memories and taking lots of selfies ! :b

As you can see on the picture above we also won 2 of these really fashionable big Minnie Mouse bows ! We looked fantastic haha , and they really made people turn their heads when we walked by them . I guess they haven't seen anything that fantastic in a long time !

Well apart from that there's not much more to tell about our Tivoli trip . It was fun and we had a great time together . It's been like forever since we saw each other last time so we had a lot of news to share , and we're definitely going to see each other again very soon ! :b

And well as you can see sunday was spent with my little nugget just relaxing all day . So great to get a day off to relax and just play around with my angel . ♥

As i wrote in one of my other blog'posts i'm going to a cake-decorating'course today . I'm so excited how that'll be like . It's only today and next monday so i hope i'll catch the idea of it pretty quick .

Mother's group & designs

Baby's on tour . ;)

Today's been a busy day just like all the others - but busy in a good way of course . I love plans and getting out from the house . Of course it's cozy sometimes to just sit at home & relax with a cup of tea and nothing to do , but that's only for one day ! Then i need to get out and do something ! 

So todays schedule looked like this: Baby's on tour . :b I met with the mother group today - you know a group of new mothers , or well .. We're soon to be old mothers since we gave birth to our little beauties for about 7 months ago , but we've agreed on still seeing each other and planning lots of baby-fun together . :D

I don't think there's a usual time where you aren't suppose to do this mother group thing anylonger , cause we've become good friends so you can actually call us a friend group now - with babies in common hehe . :b 

Anyway . We planned a trip to the cinema today with our little nuggets . We've something called Babybio in Denmark , which makes it possible either for mothers to take their baby with them into the cinema , without feeling guilty when it starts crying or something like that , cause that's kinda what you signed up for that might happen when you go into babybio - or you can let the baby be outside , where a professional takes care of the babies . Of course i wanted Emina with me in the cinema , so we chose to watch "Planes: Fire and Rescue" . Well of course Emina slept through most of the movie , but i'm sure she enjoyed it anyway hehe. :b

Christening gown design

Next on todays schedule was the designing of Emina's christening gown . Since there's only 2 weeks and 3 days until her baptism i'm pretty busy and most of my days from now on will probably go spending a lot of time on it . But i love it ! I like having a lot of balls in the air at once . :b

And of course i'm going to design and make her christening gown all by myself . I don't want to just go buy a regular one . Why should i when i can do it myself ? :b I hope i'll finish in time haha .

Tomorrow if the weather is good i'm taking a day off though . Me & one of my old childhood'friends have planned a day in Tivoli just for fun and to bring back old memories . Wiiie ! :b

Wow hello again

Such a little beauty ♥ (couple of months old btw)

Wow it's been like forever since i blogged last time - but as usual i've been busy, really busy . Of course that's not a reason , but i think it's legal to use it especially now that i got a baby . Do you guys know what kind of a job it is ? It's like full'time work-school-combined but it's so much worth it ! Every minute with my little nugget is the most important to me .

Anyway .. Much have actually happened since i haven't blogged . Emina is now almost 7 months old ! My old little girl ♥ It's amazing . Almost 7 months since she came to the world .. The times go by so fast !

This of course means a we're planning her baptism . It's actually a quiet big work , especially because i'm a i-want-to-do-everything-by-myself-woman so i've signed up for this cake-decorating'course with my bonus'mom Tine .. That's pretty exciting . It's starting up on Monday so wish me good luck with that . :b

Emina's baptism is going to be Sunday 21/9 . Write that behind the ear ! ;) I hope that we'll get everything ready , and hopefully i'll be good enough to do the cakes for the big day .

The most important 2 in the world ♥

I'm also soon going to start on an extenstions'course , so if i pass this i'll be educated ''extensionsist'' or what you can call it . Exciting exciting ! And of course i've so many pictures , stories etc. etc. i want to tell you about my life , Emina , Mikkel oh god .. I don't know where to start . But i think i'll blog some throwback-posts a couple of times , just so you get fully updated haha . Maybe do some throwback-tuesday/thursday ? Haha .. We'll just have to see what it's going to be .
