Digging up memories

Girly'time .

Today is a real girly'day . Not so much because of the things we're doing , it's not like face'masks , fixing eye'brows or stuff like that .. But just because it's all girl-catching-up-chilling-at-home . Wiiie .

My good friend AK came to visit me & Emina - so we've kicked Mikkel out of the house ... No boys allowed ! Haha . :b

So it's been a while since i saw AK last - or well .. Last time we got together was for our little Halloween'celebration with Salli too . So well it's about 1 month since we had a get-together . But even though it's only 1 month since we always got a lot to share when we fianlly meet . :b

It's actually funny . I've known AK since i was like 6 or something like that . We met in school back in the days , and then we've just kept the contact with each other ever since .

Of course there have been some periods of years where we haven't talked - but somehow we always end up contacting each other and arrange a meet up . She's for sure a friend for life . ♥♥

With all our catching-up and girl-talk i got all nostalgic and went on hunt for an old picture we had taken in Tivoli .. And i found it - and i can tell you guys we've been laughing a lot of it haha . :b

It's 9 years ago it was taken - so we were 15 back then . And as you can see it we weren't really lucky back then hahaha . It's from our goth-period hahaha . :b

Horrible ! 

But it still brings back so many good memories , and that's a reason to keep it . I love keeping old pictures . Cause when you get a child'hood friend for visit like with AK today , you can dig up old memories in those pictures . So great . ♥♥

But first... Let me take a selfie

I'm on top again - the cold is kinda gone , and Emina is also starting to get better so everything is working out just well at our little home . No one is down with a fever or anything - and there's only 2 days till we're sitting on our first family'vacation together for 1 week in Spain to visit my sweet grand'mother and get at least a bit of sun . The weather in Denmark right now ... Not really something you can brag off . Really sad autumn weather with lots of wind , it's cold and grey . And it get darks earlier and earlier . Luckily we're soon in December ! That means christmas . And i love christmas ! Wiiie . ♥

Anyway - it's been a while since i've made a "real selfie" post .. Back in the days i used to do it a lot you know , lots of pictures , lots of show off haha . :b

And i'm kinda missing that a bit . You know it is my blog so i'm aloud to show off and upload all kinds of crazy ego'pics . So that's pretty much what todays post is all about .

Just a few selfie pics of me . Ego ego ego . Not because they're much worth you know - they're taking on our toilet in true teenage'selfie'style so nothing fancy with a photographer and all posed up . :b

But i think they came out fine didn't they ? Haha .

And yea well . That was pretty much what i wanted to use this blog'post so . :b

Not really a lot of creativity putted in this post - but sometimes it's okay to just make a boring post just for showing off haha . :b

Tomorrow is a big day !

I'm getting up early to get my nails and hair done by some of my greatest friends wiiie . So i'm looking great for the music'video shoot i'm having later that afternoon . I can't wait !

I'm sure it'll be just great - and i'm sooooo looking forward to showing and telling you guys all about it . :b 

Afterwards i'm going straight home to back up everything and getting ready for our travel Friday noon . Wiiie .

I'm also going to plan make some planned blog'posts while i'm on vacation - i'll try to get to a computer and do some live'blogging from Spain if i get the opportunity , but i can't promise i'll get the time and chance for that . But then you'll get some planned posts from me - pictures from the baptism and pictures we had taken of Emina before the baptism , cause i still haven't showed them off so this is the perfect time wiiie .

We got a new......

That's not your size sweety . :b

..... Shoe'lover in the family .. Our own daughter is following in her mothers foot'steps and she's starting to be crazy about shoes ! Really . She loves sitting and playing with them , trying to try them on , even though it's a bit hard since she can't stand all by herself yet - but she's trying ! And she's so clever really . She knows where the shoes are supposed to go already - on the feets .. She actually figured that out like i think it's about .. 2 months ago or something like that . :b 

She loves playing with the shoes - but she still haven't gotten her moms great taste yet . She's usually sitting with Mikkels big size working or running'shoes .. Not because it's a bad bad choice .. But still , when you're a little girly girl in a red dress with white dots .. You don't choose those big ass shoes showing above haha . :b 

But hopefully the great taste will come in time .... I'm crossing my fingers haha .

Apart from that i don't have much more to share with you guys today . :b

Oh - except from this great news; i'm going to stare in a music'video with a great danish singer soon . He's not that famous and known yet , but he's really talented and i'm sure it'll be great !

But more about that later . :b

My rebellious side

Well goodnight ..

I wonder if i've to wake up at 04:00 tomorrow morning since Emina decided she only wanted to sleep for 1 hour this noon and now is now asleep again at 18:00 ... Hmpff... I'm already getting tired just by the thought !
But i hope she'll sleep at least just till 06:00 og 07:00 - not so much later , but still a more human-time to wake up at . There's nothing greater than being a mom haha ..

What do you guys think about that piercing ? Should i try to find my rebellious side and get a piercing like that done ? I mean .. I once have had a nose'piercing before , but not like this hahaha .

Of course i'm only kidding . I would never get something like that done - especially not now , since i'm a mother and well .. It's starting to be a bit late trying to experiment the life of a rebel . Or am i wrong ? Haha . :b .. The piercing on the picture is not real btw . Just a ear'ring i putted there for fun to kinda scare of Mikkel a bit - i texted him the same picture and he thought it was real .. Freaking out much ! :b muhaha .

But we only got the fun we make ourselves right ?

My little princess

Well goodmorning to you my sweet'heart .

I'm supposed to be rushing around & all stressed out about the baptism on Sunday - but today i felt like just having a cool'down day , since yesterday was one big mess about the gown & i almost had like a break'down because i felt stressed like hell .. That don't seem like me - and that's why i've also agreed with myself that i'm going to take it in my own speed , relax & just do it the best i can .

Nothing can be completely perfect , and i don't want it to be perfect . I want it to be down-to-earth , family & friends just having a good time and celebrating my beautiful daughter .
I know i got time enough - and i will be finished on sunday . As long as i just calm down & act like myself again . I got Mikkel , my mom and Fido , my brother and soon my grand'mother to help me . So it'll all be great and we'll make it in time hehe . :b

So todays post wont be about stressing around & trying to get ready for sunday - but just a bragging post about my little sweet'heart . We've had a chill'day together . Quality mom-and-daughter-time .. We've been for a short walk in the great weather and just relaxing in the sofa at home .
And as you can see on the picture above my little Emina is getting so good ! She can raise herself up - and "almost" stand without any help hehe . :)

Sushi , furniture shopping & nail'designing

I found my DREAM chair ! :b

Hello darlings !

Since we're going to move out of our old houses (away from all my child'hood memories . Damn it's weird to think about) , i got this idea today that i wanted to go out and look at some new furnitures for my own little "apartment" i'm going to get in the new house .

So i dragged one of my good friends with me BoConcept where i tripped over this fantastic chair ! Of course the lamb'skin and the neck'pillow thing aren't following with the chair . But i would by that too if i bought this chair . It's really stylish & it was in more colors too , but i liked this white one ! Even though it doesn't look that comfortable i think it was . Or well you'll need a blanket or something to sit on if you'll sit real comfortable , but it can be used without a blanket .. Or lamb'skin too haha . :b

The only thing is the price . It costed a lot of cash ! And well i'm not a millionaire or something , so i think i'll have to settle with a less expensive chair haha . But this is and will be my dream chair for now ! Haha .

Mmmmh !!

After that short shopping-without-buying-something-trip we had in BoConcept it was time to get something delicious to eat . And of course we choose to buy sushi ! Maybe this is why i don't have the money for my dream'chair haha ! :b Anyway . I love food and especially sushi ! It's like the king of food . Or almost ! So we bought a lot and it was gone in like 10 minutes or something haha .. Mmmhh

And of course i saved the best of the day till the end . Cause i'm getting really good to that nail'designing i'm running here and well because i'm soon going to open my own salon i thought i would make some commercial'pictures for what i can offer all my customers in my salon . And i was so lucky that my little'brother Nicklas volunteered as a nail'model for my commercials . So i pimped his nail ! And it resulted in this beautiful 23"kat" nail'design ! Heeeeell yiiir ! :b Hahaha .

I think this'll be a perfect commercial . Do you guys agree with me ? :b

Rice pudding & rhinoceros beetle

Delicious dinner - rice pudding with cinnamon and a knob of butter .

Mmmmh . What i love about December'month is the christmas food you get , or of course it's different what you get in the different countries but i love the christmas food in Denmark .

A tradition in most families in Denmark is rice pudding - it's something you eat through the month and even though it's not like the most culinary fantastic food to make it's just sooooooo cozy to sit and eat it .

So - if you don't know excatly what i'm talking about it's called rice pudding aka risengrød(the danish word) . And it's well . Rice mixed with milk , butter , salt and sugar . It's very easy to make and when you've done it you can choose to come cinnamon or sugar and a knob of butter on it . 

Yea and well - a little bonus information for you peepz . Rice pudding is actually a traditional thing to serve for the christmas pixies and Santa Claus here in Denmark . :b 

Oh and a little extra bonus for you guys . Kit now as a rhinoceros beetle hahaha . Well it was a boring day at the job so we choosed to make some fun out of the paper'stuff we had here at Hultquist . And well - it transformed me into Kit the rhinoceros beetle hehe . Really sad humour i know . :b
And well i know i look pretty worn out or what you can say , but i'm not wearing any make up . So it's all natural me there on a pretty bad day hehe . But whatever , that's how i look daily at work . I hate using time on make up when i'm only going to work .

Photo'challenge Day 23

Day 23 - A picture of a place you were today .



Well i don't really know if this one can count for a place you were today . It's a little bit of cheating but i'm really not creative & i don't have much time on the computer today so . A place i were today was pretty much actually on the streets - infront of this shop .

Or i actually only were there for about 5 minutes or even less , but i think it's pretty funny . It's a store called: "Kit's Modestoffer" - translated into english it's something like "Kit's fashion fabrics" . Well the funny part about this is yea well that it's my name but not my store haha . Just if you were confused and thought that .

But anyway . The actually funny part is that "stoffer" - which in this situation is translated into "fabrics" actually can have more than only one meaning in Denmark .

So i did this :

- On computer , i didn't do it on the actually window .

Because yea well i was bored . No life much ! haha . And by removing that "Mode" infront of "Stoffer" the word is just : "Kit's stoffer" - which now is translated into: "Kit's drugs" or i mean it as that haha . Really dumb humour i know . But yea well i just thought it was funny . :b
So here you go . "Kit's drugs" / "Kit's stoffer" . My boutique hahaha !

Let me introduce .....

Me & Robin ! :)

....... Robin ! That's my very good friend & a really , really good photographer . It was him who kinda helped me start up this model'career . When i met him on a club for (almost) 4 years ago now , we started talking & he told me that he was a photographer . I thought it would be fun to try that modelling stuff , so we found a day where i at first - like most other people - had to pay a small amount of money for that photo'shoot . It was really professional , and even though he wasn't the best back then since he & i haven't really tried it before the pictures ended up looking pretty good . :)

Now - almost 4 years later - he's one of my really good friends , i don't any longer pay for getting taking pictures , and we're both using the pictures he take to get a bigger port'folie . The pictures are getting better , and better . And he's the only photographer i count on 110% ! :)

We don't only have that professional relationship there's between a model and the photographer - no we've this friendly private relationship too , where we're going out together , talking about everything between the sky & earth and just having it great .

He's not only a great photographer . But also a really great & funny friend ! :)

So i just wanted to introduce you for him - after i've had this photo'session with him today , as the picture shows hehe . And i'll soon be uploading some more - old & new pictures he (and of course also other) photographers have taken .

Photo'challenge Day 16 & after catwalk

  

Day 16 - A picture of a memorable event .

Because i'm one of those persons who just give & give & give i decided that i wanted to show some of the pictures from after the cat'walk show - on our way home . Where we got a little crazy haha ! :b

And well on my photo'challenge paper there was also this challenge about showing pictures from a memorable event - and that would have to be this haha . :)
Actually the cat'walk in itself was the memorable event but the hour we spend driving in the car home again maked it an even more memorable & fun day ! Me & Louise shared the car since we live pretty close to eachother & we already know eachother very well . So that was just great .
And well as you can see on the pictures we had a bit fun haha ! As an excuse we were both actually a bit drunk . Just because it was a fashion'show for a Sexshop doesn't mean that you don't get to drink some afterwards . And that was what we did ! ;)
But anyway . It was fun , i got some funny & less lucky pictures out of it and it's a memorable event i'll remember from now on and many years forward .

Man har kun det sjov man selv laver ...

I get asked A LOT what that sentence means , so i think i'll tell about it once for all since it's like my motto in life - you know i live by that .

"Man har kun det sjov man selv laver" means something like You only have the fun you make , but it just sounds better & more poetic or what you can say in danish . Or i think so hehe . So that was pretty easy to translate , and i think everyone can understand what i rules i live by now ?
If you're confused i can tell you , that i live by these rules about you only have the fun you make , cause if you don't do anything to enjoy your life - like freaking out & doing something crazy , trying new stuff and just have a good time you can't complain about life is a bitch and all that . Be relaxed , have fun , laugh of yourself when you do something stupid & don't be so afraid of not always looking perfect , saying the wrong thing or just in general what people think about you . As long as you're satisfied with who you are , others opinion doesn't mean anything ! Of course life can be a bitch , but try to look positive on as much as possible , that's what i do . :b
Smile , be happy & make a lot of fun ! :) . Very poetic haha .

Photo'challenge Day 14

Day 14 - A picture that makes you laugh .

And guess what . This does hehe ! :)

Simply just because me & my favourite of all time best friend Kia looks SO UNBELIEVABLE UGLY ! Haha . And of course because it just was a funny day . I remember we took like over 100 pictures just that day , and even though it's like 1½ / 2 years ago i can still remember almost everything that happened that day , everything we said & everything we did . Almost .
Because i can always be myself with Kia so she's one of the persons i'm having the most fun with <3

And just by looking at this picture a lot of memories come rolling in ! It can cheer me up everytime i'm down or if i just need to look at something and laugh .

Day 5 - A picture of someone you do the most crazy things with .

Actually this was again a VERY tough one , since i've more than only one friend i do crazy stuff with . But in the end it wasn't that hard to choose who anyway . So i choosed , the friend i do the most crazy things with would be . Exciting ...

Just because he's that crazy . Haha , okay well he's a really amazing & good friend . And well he have known me for a while now - actually for years and since he's still my friend i guess he haven't got tired of me yet , and never will . I HOPE !
Anyway . I choosed to show these pictures because i think they're .. Well crazy ? On the first picture you can see the delicious , SUPER HOT , extremely gorgeous luxurious whore Getrud . She costs 200 dollars pr. minute & she'll make sure you never forget her EVER !! Haha . ;)
And the last picture is just , very goth kinda . But anyway - it was past my goth'time so . I was just dressing up ! :b . I think we look pretty gorgeous there anyway . So beautiful .

I also just wanted to show this little cute picture . "The making of Gertrud" it's called . And i think it's so cute . Gay out much guys . Every guy should have 30 minutes a week to just chill with his dudes , with a powder , brush , foundation & some mascare creating fantastic looks as on picture one .

That would make the world a much better place . :) Haha .
