Baby'daddy aww ♥

So i've been at "Riget" today , and i'm now through ultrasound & the CTG scan - and the doctors hold on to her only 2900 g .. So she's just below average , but she's small , and chubby and she's still gaining weight so they're not starting up an initiation - so i'm going to give birth in a natural way wiiie ! :D

And i'm so excited about it ! There's only 3 days till my due date - that means i'm sat to give birth to Emina on saturday , but we'll see about that . Even though our apartment are almost ready for our new family'memeber , and i'm like also 100% ready for this , i'm not really feeling that Emina is ready to come out in the world yet hehe . But we'll see about it . :b

If she's not coming on my due date it'll be interesting to see how late i'll be .

But that'll be it for todays post . I'm going back to "project shelf system" haha . I think this is a project i'll be working on for a lot of days , cause there's so many pieces haha . :b

Check and pregnancy'pictures

Today i've been to the midwife for a final check on to see if everything is fine with our little princess , and she's doing well & everything - but her weight is only 2900 g (danish gram - convert it yourself) which means she has only gain 400 g in 3 weeks , and that's not enough . So now i'm going to the hospital "Riget" (rigshospitalet) on wednesday to check if they have to start up an initiation , or it'll be a natural birth anyway .

Poor little Emina ♥ I would love to have a natural birth , without anesthesia or something like that , but if it has to be this way for her i'll do it of course ♥

But now for some more happy news if you can say that - i had a great photo'shoot with the fantastic photographer Martin Jørgensen , and i loved how they turned out ! They're looking great , and i really love them . I think they're kind erotic in some way , like those i used to do before , but at the same time they really show my love for my little princess Emina & not to sound waaaaay to cocky , but i really love my pregnancy body in those pictures . I think it look so great ! :b I know it sounds cocky , but it's okay sometimes hehe . ;)

Last but not least we got our closet today , and jesus ! There's so many parts we've to put together so i know what i'm going to do the last couple of days . Cause that's like impossible to get done on one day !

Crazy hair

Crazy hair !! :b haha

39+0 today... And 1 week till the due date !!!! Omg i'm so excited . It's crazy thinking about that in 1 week Mikkel and I might be parents to a beautiful little daughter . Or well , it can be either before or after .. You never know . :b

I've had a lot of prodromal labors today - or well maybe better known as "false labors" .. Hmmm . Maybe that's a sign on somethings happening very soon ? Or maybe not . Anyway it's exciting and i can't wait now - it's getting a bit heavy & annoying walking around with this huge stomach . I just want her in my arms now ♥

But i would be nice if she could wait just a couple of days , cause i'm having some really busy days right now -i've an appointment with a great photographer who's going to take some last pregnancy pics of me before the birth . We're getting our closet on monday , and i think it's going be a bit of a project when we finally get it . I'm also going to the hopefully last check at the midwife to see if everything is fine , if she has gain enough weight etc. etc.

So that's a bit about what the future brings me , of course i'll upload some of the new pregnancy'pictures when i get them . It'll be great ! And i'll keep you updated about everything forward to the due date , afterwards and well i'll try to write as soon as possible after i've giving birth hehe . :b You'll almost be the first to know , i promise . ;)

38+4 - baby pictures & "unoriginal" risotto

Baby me ! :b Little fatty hehe .

Phew ! I can really feel the butterflies in the stomach now ! There's only 1 week and 3 days until the due date and i'm getting soooo nervous & really can't wait anymore . Now she can soon come out & say hello to mommy & daddy - we love you our little princess ♥

It's crazy so fast 9 months can go ! I've carried around on my little Emina'honey for almost 9 months now - and in just about 1 week and 3 days she might be laying here in my arms , so i can hug her , kiss her . Ohhhh it's so great ! ♥♥♥♥

Today my grand'mother send me some baby'pictures of me . Awwww . Well you can say i was a little fat , happy and not always so fotogenic as a baby . Hahahaha ! But it's great to see yourself from back then - it really brings back some child'hood memories . Well now from that time , but from when i was younger . Awww . And it just makes me even more excited about my new role as a mother to be . ♥♥

But i'll round this post of and go back to my cooking soon . Mikkels parents are coming over for dinner today , so i'm making an "unoriginal" risotto for tonight . All the ingredients are ready , and i just have to make it done till they come over . My risotto is with chicken , parma ham and asparagus . Yummy ! :b

Plaster sculpture

In the making of it . :b

So i've been talking about this plaster sculpture of my stomach like forever now - and today we started doing it . I didn't do it alone of course , that would've been pretty impossible hehe . I invited my good friend Henriette over to help me do it . She's really creative & great at making special sculptures and very different art like this kind . And i'm so glad that she's good at it - cause GOOOOD it took lots of patience & time to do this . We used what like 2½ hour on the making of this sculpture - and it's not even done yet !

To give all you guys a short kind of "recipe" on how to do this - we used something called plaster gauze in rolls . And then it's just a question about covering the whole torso if you want to do it like me . :b 

Tomorrow i'm going to the shopping mall FIELDS to buy some liquid plaster to correct the uneven parts so it'll be all flat . You can also choose to use the liquid plaster directly on the body to make this , but unless you know how to use it DON'T DO IT since it can cause burns . 

And last but not least i just need to aligning the edges & either paint - or spray'paint it with a metallic paint , either gold , silver or cobber but i haven't choosed what yet . It depends on the rest of our furnitures & the room . :b

The result so far - and with a pumpkin head haha . :b

So as you guys can hear - i'm far from done with the making of this sculpture , but when it's done i know it'll be great . I got the idea like 10 years ago , i saw it at a friends house . Her mom did one for every 3 pregnancies , and ever since i've known that i wanted to make one too when i got pregnant . :b

Modern food . :b

So delicious . :b

Yummy - i love making food , especially when it turns out this good . I know it sounds a bit cocky , but it's okay sometimes when you've a reason for it . :b

I actually don't really know how i learned to make good food . It's not like i've had a passion for it for years or something like that , but i think it's funny - cause i can experiment with flavours & combinations . 

So today i choose to make a good dinner for me & Mikkel - celebrating that we're soon going to be parents , and because i know it might be hard finding the time to do this when we suddenly will become 3 - but of course we'll still try and we'll make it wiie ! :b

Todays dinner was a modern version of the danish dish "Brændende kærlighed" (in english it'll be called "Burning love i think") - i don't know if you guys have this dish in other countries , but in Denmark the traditional dish is based on mashed potatoes mixed with milk and butter .

But my version of "Brændende kærlighed" was a bit different & well you can say i kinda modernized the dish , making it a bit more healthy but it tasted really great ! :b

It's mashed root vegetables with fresh parsley , with fresh beets cut into sticks & fried in a mixture of oil and butter with balsamic vinegar, honey, salt and pepper - and finally bacon, onions and cranberries that are fried in a bit of the frying fat from the beets . It was really delicious - so delicious that sweet Mikkel want it for dinner tomorrow too hehe . :b So i think i deserve a shoulder path for this dish . :D

37+1 - uuuuuuuuh

Uhhh -i know it's in danish sorry . :b

This is so exciting ! Today i'm 37+1 and there's only 2 weeks and 5 days till the due date ! It's so exciting - and from now on and until 2 weeks after the due date i can give birth to little Emina every minute now ! 

Uhhhhhh i'm so nervous , excited and i can't wait till the big day . :b

But before giving birth to Emina there's some stuff i have to do - i'm going to get some new pregnancy'pictures taken by a great photographer, Martin wiie , and i'm going to make a plaster sculpture of my stomach . :b

Time for some creativity

I'm feeling creative when i'm home alone . :b

I hate being home alone ! :( Emina hates it too - we both want daddy home so we can be like a whole big family , but luckily he's soon starting on his new job , with new working hours that's not in the middle of the night . Wiiie i love it !

But when i'm home alone & having some time for myself i get to use my creativity in a nice way - i designed some clothes . And i miss it soo much . It's been like 5 years since i the last time i really designed clothes . Back then i studied at Fashion Design Akademiet , but because of my fathers dead and a lot of personal problems i had to drop out . And since then there have been happening so much in my life that i really haven't had the time to just sit down and design , sew and create . So it was nice having some time to just sit down , relax and try designing some stuff . :b

What do you guys think about it ?

I like to move it move it

Wow she's having a party ! :b

Oh i'm having the worst evening of my life ! Seriously i can't fall asleep ! Don't misunderstand me , i love feeling Emina moving inside me & everything - but tonight it's like she's throwing a party inside me , dancing and moving and it's so hard falling asleep . It's great she's having it well but i'm really hoping she'll soon be tired and fall asleep hehe . :b

As i told you guys about i was i went to a check at the midwife today , and luckily everything went fine ! She's a fine girl on ca. about 2500 g. and they're counting her final weight to be around 3000 - 3500 g. .. So a fine little size and so far she's healthy , doing great & eating well ! :D 

But i'll try laying down , put a good movie on and hopefully Emina will fall asleep very soon , or well at least shut down that party she's having right now hehe .

I'm cracking !

I'm cracking ! :D

Not much has happened since my last update , but i wouldn't cheat you guys from stomach pic from today hehe . :b I don't know if you guys can see it - but i can see it myself , and feel it ! I've grown a little bit more , and i'm literally feeling like i'm cracking soon ! 

And i can tell you guys that it's really horrible right now . All the way through my pregnancy i've loved it , but right now i hate being pregnant ! And there's only 1 reason for it - i'm sick ! :(

Really , really sick ! I've gotten a cold , and i'm feeling like my head is going to explode ! I have like zero energy & have just been laying on the sofa the last 2 days - and that's really something i don't have time for ! I've to work on the apartment so we can get it done soon , i've to prepare everything for my new business i'm going to start up here in 2014 and there's so much more ! But right now i'm just laying at the sofa , feeling horrible while getting kicked in the ribs - that's why i hate being pregnant right now . :(

But hopefully i'll soon feel better again - i'm going to a midwife check tomorrow , to check up on the little princess weight and to see if everything is going well .

But even though i'm sick i've to give myself a pat on the back , cause i've managed to make biscuit cake for Mikkel's last day of work - and i'm making dinner for the whole family + a friend of Mikkel today . Go me !! Wiiiie . :b Haha

Happy new year from the hippo

35+5 and i'm feeling like a hippo ! :b

Happy New Year everybody ! 

Wow - we're in year 2014 now , and so much have happened the last year . I have met the love of my life , i'm pregnant and i've moved in to a new apartment , i'm working on starting up my own beauty'salon when my maternity leave is over . It's amazing thinking about ! All these stuff happened over 1 year - and the most amazing part of all this is that in the year 2014 i can soon call myself a mother . I never thought that would happen so soon . But it's great ! :b

Anyway - i hope you all had a fantastic New years eve & aren't too tired . :b This new years eve was a bit different for me , since i was pregnant . I remember last year , drunk and soooooo wasted the next day . But this year i jumped into the new year with a big stomach , drunk on coke and well i went to bed already at 1 am cause i was so tired . :b

Before ending this post i just wanted to tell you guys a very important thing ! Enjoy a good trip to the toilet once in a while ! Really ! Enjoy peeing - you know really peeing . I know it sounds crazy and maybe a bit gross but i'm sooooo tired of peeing all the time - and it's not like really peeing , it's just like two small drops of pee every half hour ! And i can tell you guys that it's so annoying have to run to the bathroom all the time just to do that , and especially with the huge stomach ! I'm feeling like a hippo ! Enormous !
